  1. What is the Status of the Settlement?

    On March 6, 2020, the Court held the Final Fairness Hearing in this case. The Court entered a written Order approving the proposed class action settlement on March 10, 2020. The Order is posted here. The Settlement is not yet effective. The Effective Date will be May 10, 2020 in the event no appeals are filed. Once the Effective Date has arrived, the benefits provided in the Settlement will be made available as described below.

  2. Can I still Submit a Claim?

    The claims deadline is January 30, 2020 or 30 days after the date of a Qualifying Repair, whichever is later.

  3. What is Happening with my Claim?

    The claims process is underway. For all claims already submitted, the Settlement Administrator will determine if your claim is valid. If the Settlement Administrator determines that your claim is deficient, the Settlement Administrator will notify you. You will then have 30 days to provide additional information and supporting documentation.

  4. When will Claims for Reimbursement be Paid?

    Within 90 days of the Effective Date, the Settlement Administrator will mail reimbursement checks for valid claims.

  5. When will Vouchers for New Vehicles be Mailed?

    Within 90 days of the Effective Date, the Settlement Administrator will mail vouchers to those class members who qualify. Please see FAQs 6 and 11 on the Class Notice or Frequently Asked Questions page for details.

  6. When will Nissan Implement the 24-month/24,000-mile Warranty Extension?

    The Warranty Extension will be implemented as of the Effective Date. Please note that May 10, 2020 falls on Sunday. The first opportunity for repairs covered under the Warranty Extension will be Monday, May 11, 2020, provided that no appeals are filed.
